Product overview
The ART Phantom II Pro delivers two channels of 48 V phantom power in a compact enclosure, powered by a 9 V battery or an external adaptor (not included).
It installs inline between your microphone and a balanced line input and provides clean, reliable phantom power for one or two condenser microphones. Low power, high efficiency CMOS circuitry gives over 10 hours of battery life under a full load on both channels, making it a great solution for mobile recording, especially with a bus-powered interface. ART names home and professional recording studios, live sound, PA, permanent installations, DJ, AV, podcasting and broadcasting as application areas.

Installation and operation
Install a 9 V battery (the compartment opens with a knurled fastener) or connect an external supply to the External Power jack; the unit is protected if both are applied at the same time. Connect the microphone to Microphone Input 1 or 2 (front, XLR female) and Microphone Output 1 or 2 (rear, XLR male) to a balanced input of your gear. Push the Power button: it lights when power is applied. On battery, switch off after use to maximise battery life, and if the connected equipment has its own phantom power, switch that off.
Power
The Phantom II Pro supplies 48 V DC (typical) through 6.98 kΩ (1 %) current limiting resistors.
