Product overview

The ART T8 Transformer / Isolator provides eight channels with high-performance transformers that reduce hum and ground loop noise, separating the input and output signal grounds for total isolation between two systems.

The transformers are wound for 1:1 unity gain, are designed for impedances from 600 Ω to 100 kΩ and have an extremely flat and wide frequency response for clean, transparent sound even at high signal levels. Each channel has XLR, 1/4 inch TRS and RCA connectors on its input and output: the 1/4 inch and RCA jacks are on the front, the XLRs on the rear. The jacks are directly paralleled, so they can also serve as signal taps or a signal splitter. The steel 1U case has reversible rack ears that put either side to the front, and the passive design needs no power.
