Product overview

The ECLER DN44BOB is a 4 input and 4 output Dante/AES67 (audio over IP) break out box with 4 GPI and 4 GPO control ports, compatible with EclerNet and managed from the EclerNet Manager application.

It converts 4 analogue audio signals into 4 Dante/AES67 channels and sends them into an Ethernet LAN, and takes 4 Dante/AES67 channels from the network and converts them to analogue audio. The 4 GPI ports (0-10 V DC) connect ECLER WPa wall panels for remote volume and preset recall, and the 4 GPO relays drive screens, partitions, lights or other equipment. It works with EclerNet Dante/AES67 ready products or as a stand-alone interface for any analogue audio device, and the included rack-mount kit fits it in half a 19 inch rack unit.

Mic/line inputs and line outputs 4 x 4
GPI and GPO control ports 4 + 4
Latency at 48 kHz 1 ms
Power consumption 6.5 W

Key features

  • Ethernet interface: Dante/AES67 audio (4/4 channels, 2/2 flows) and EclerNet compatible
  • 4 balanced MIC/LINE inputs with phantom power and 3 sensitivity levels, Euroblock
  • 4 balanced LINE outputs, Euroblock
  • 4 GPI ports (0-10 V DC or TTL) for wall panels, contact closures and preset recall
  • 4 GPO ports, NO/NC isolated relays, saved in presets
  • Processing: level, mute, polarity, metering, output gain, limiters and a signal generator
  • Rack-mount kit included: 1UHRMKIT + PUM3

Analogue to network and back

The inputs accept microphones or line sources with sensitivity from -50 dBV to +10 dBV in 0.5 dB steps, 0/-20/-40 dB pad and +18 V DC phantom power switched in software. The outputs deliver up to +18 dBV (+21 dBu) with a frequency response of 5 Hz to 24 kHz.

Remote control with GPI and GPO

GPI inputs take WPaVOL potentiometers, WPaVOL-IR remotes, WPaVOL-SR selectors or contact closures over cables up to 500 m. GPO relays follow presets, so recalling a preset can lower a projection screen or switch a light.

EclerNet Manager

All settings are made from the EclerNet Manager application (from v3.05r2), available from ecler.com. The unit leaves the factory at IP 192.168.0.100, and its Dante/AES67 channels are routed with Dante configuration software.

In the box

  • 1 x DN44BOB
  • External 24 V DC power supply with interchangeable mains plugs
  • 1UHRMKIT + PUM3 rack-mount kit

Can it be used without other ECLER products?

Yes. It works as a stand-alone Dante/AES67 interface with any audio device that has analogue inputs or outputs.

Which wall panels can control it?

ECLER WPa series panels such as the WPaVOL, WPaVOL-IR and WPaVOL-SR connect to its GPI ports.

How is it mounted?

It is half a 19 inch rack wide and 1 RU high; the included 1UHRMKIT and PUM3 mount one or two units in one rack unit.

Where can I buy the ECLER DN44BOB in India?
