Built for distributed sound
The rotary tap selector under the top cover sets the DROP6i to 60, 30, 15 or 7.5 W on a 100 V or 70 V line, or to the 8 Ω position for low-impedance amplifiers. Many speakers can share one line, and the double INPUT/LINK Euroblock connector loops the line on to the next loudspeaker. The speaker leaves the factory set to 60 W; on 70 V lines the powers of the 100 V positions are reduced to half. ECLER recommends an amplifier of 150 W RMS.
Design that fits the interior
The conical enclosure and borderless aluminium grille give the DROP6i a clean look that suits shops, cafés and offices. The white version can be painted to match the room, water drain openings and the IP53 rating protect it in humid spaces, and the speaker works from -20 °C to 70 °C.
Simple suspension
Two steel cords with clutch adjusters hang the speaker at the height you choose. Remove the top of the enclosure, fix the cords to the bracket, wire the Euroblock connectors, set the power selector and lock the conical back cover until the marks match. For large audiences, hanging the speakers higher gives better long-distance coverage.
