Product overview

The FONESTAR SONAIR-PRO-1M is a UHF hand-held wireless microphone with ID Pilot pairing and a diversity receiver: 500 selectable channels from 640 to 690 MHz and a transmission distance greater than 90 m.

The SONAIR-PRO-1M gives superior sound, stable operation and excellent interference behaviour. The ID Pilot function pairs the receiver and transmitter with a unique 16-bit code, preventing other microphones from interfering even on the same frequency, and diversity reception with two antennas ensures the best RF reception. The displays on the microphone and on the receiver show the frequency and battery status, and the channels are synchronised quickly by infrared. The unidirectional dynamic capsule maximises direct sound pick-up and rejects noise and indirect sounds, for presentations, lectures, singers, events and performances.

Transmission distance > 90 m

Key features

  • Wireless hand-held microphone with unidirectional dynamic capsule
  • Receiver with colour display: channel, microphone battery level and more; RF and audio signal indicators
  • ID Pilot function: 16-bit pairing code to avoid interference
  • Diversity reception with 2 antennas
  • Transmission of the receiver channel to the microphone with SYNC IR
  • 500 selectable channels, 640-690 MHz
  • Transmission distance greater than 90 m
  • Maximum 7 - 8 microphones / receivers at the same time on different channels
  • Balanced XLR and unbalanced 6.3 mm jack outputs
  • Optional SONAIR-PRO-1RACK mount for 1 U of a 19 inch rack

Interference-free with ID Pilot

The ID Pilot function pairs the receiver and its microphone with a unique 16-bit code, so other microphones cannot interfere even on the same frequency. Diversity reception with two antennas ensures the best RF reception, and the display shows which antenna, A or B, is receiving.

Quick IR synchronisation

Select one of the 500 channels on the receiver with the multifunction control, long press SYNC and hold the microphone's IR sensor in front of the receiver's: the channel is transferred and the microphone display shows it. Leave at least 5 channels free between microphones and give each microphone its own channel.

Ready for the rack and for more coverage

The receiver installs in 1 U of a 19 inch rack with the optional SONAIR-PRO-1RACK. Its TNC antenna inputs supply 9 V DC for antenna amplifiers, so coverage can be extended with the FONESTAR AMP-811 antenna amplifier and ADU-830 antenna, or with the ADU-823AMP amplified antenna.
