Product overview
The GENELEC GLM User Kit 8300-601 (GLM Calibration Kit) lets GENELEC Smart Active Monitors and Subwoofers (SAM) work with GENELEC Loudspeaker Manager (GLM) software, for precise automatic room adaption, advanced system control and detailed GRADE Room Acoustic Reporting.
The kit contains the GLM Network Adapter, a reference measurement microphone with holder, a 1.8 m USB cable and a Quick Connection Guide. Network your SAM monitors and subwoofers with the Ethernet cables supplied with them, download GLM, then connect the adapter to your computer over USB and to the SAM system. GLM AutoCal measures the room with monitor-generated test signals and sets the level, time-of-flight and room equalisation of every monitor and subwoofer. Up to 30 monitors and subwoofers can be set up and controlled over standard CAT5 or CAT6 cabling, and GLM comes with a site licence for as many computers as you need. The adapter also works stand-alone on a 5 V USB power supply as the master for GENELEC wired and wireless volume controllers.
