The GRACE DESIGN E418 is the Spacebar modular tube joiner bar: made from very strong 304 stainless steel, it joins any two of the 7/8 in Spacebar tubes into one longer bar.
To join two tubes, slide the joiner bar into one tube and secure it with an 8-32 x 1/4 in flat head screw, then slide the second tube over the joiner bar and secure it with the other screw. The E418 is typically used for the 2 metre segment of the SB-DT tree array or for very wide stereo bars: an SB-100 1 metre AB bar with another E420 tube and an E418 becomes an SB-200 2 metre stereo bar.
