The GRACE DESIGN SB-MHS Mic Holder Assembly is a complete standard height mic holder assembly for adding additional microphone positions to the Spacebar stereo microphone positioner, available with standard 5/8-27 or BSW 3/8-16 threads.
It adds microphone positions to the bar for arrays with more than two microphones. The holder is secured to the horizontal bar by its position lock nut; loosening the nut lets it slide side to side, with 5 mm precision on the bar ruler, and the angle of incidence is set with 5° precision on the angle scale of the holder. A jam nut locks the microphone clip in its orientation.

Setup
- Place the assembly in the bar slot and fit the position lock nut.
- Set the angle to 0° and tighten the angle lock screw.
- Thread on the clip, point the microphone straight ahead and lock the jam nut.
- Set the angle and position, then lock.
Tip: Measure the actual capsule spacing with a tape measure or ruler.

Setup
- Remove the position lock nut while holding the assembly.
- Loosen the angle lock screw and remove the holder body from the keyed ring.
