Product overview
The NEUMANN MC 2 is the strings clip cello of the NEUMANN Miniature Clip Mic MCM system: clip for attaching the capsule and gooseneck of the Neumann Miniature Clip Mic MCM system to the strings of a cello below the bridge. The gooseneck holder rotates and locks in 45° increments to allow you to adjust the orientation.
The NEUMANN Miniature Clip Mic MCM System brings true Neumann sound to close miking of acoustic instruments in live applications. It includes nine instrument-specific mounting clips; goosenecks in several lengths can be precisely aligned and locked to the clips in one or two axes in 45-degree increments, and the mounting mechanics are gentle on even the most sensitive surfaces, requiring only one hand for most instruments. The MC 2 is also supplied in the NEUMANN MCM 114 set cello (Cat. No. 008718).

Setup
- Fit the capsule head onto the gooseneck and lock the gooseneck into the holder.
- Slide the MC 2 onto the strings of the cello below the bridge.
- Connect the cable to the MCM 100 output stage or to the wireless bodypack transmitter.
- Set the gain and check the sound.
Tip: Use the KK 14 cardioid capsule for focus on a loud stage.
