Product overview

The NEUMANN MC 4 is the rib clip double bass of the NEUMANN Miniature Clip Mic MCM system: clip for attaching the capsule and gooseneck of the Miniature Clip Mic system to the body of a double bass or similar instrument. The self-adjusting spring mechanism and rubber coating ensure reliable attachment without damaging the instrument. The gooseneck holder rotates and locks in 45° increments to allow you to adjust the orientation. You can use the included reducer to adapt the clip to particularly slim instruments.

The NEUMANN Miniature Clip Mic MCM System brings true Neumann sound to close miking of acoustic instruments in live applications. It includes nine instrument-specific mounting clips; goosenecks in several lengths can be precisely aligned and locked to the clips in one or two axes in 45-degree increments, and the mounting mechanics are gentle on even the most sensitive surfaces, requiring only one hand for most instruments. The MC 4 is available individually; it is not part of an MCM 114 instrument set.
