The NEUMANN MC 8 is the magnetic piano clip of the NEUMANN Miniature Clip Mic MCM system: magnetic holder for attaching the capsule and gooseneck of the Miniature Clip Mic system to or in a piano or grand piano. The gooseneck holder rotates and locks in 45° increments to allow you to adjust the orientation.
The NEUMANN Miniature Clip Mic MCM System brings true Neumann sound to close miking of acoustic instruments in live applications. It includes nine instrument-specific mounting clips; goosenecks in several lengths can be precisely aligned and locked to the clips in one or two axes in 45-degree increments, and the mounting mechanics are gentle on even the most sensitive surfaces, requiring only one hand for most instruments. The MC 8 is also supplied in the NEUMANN MCM 114 stereo set piano (Cat. No. 008712).

Setup
- Fit the capsule head onto the gooseneck and lock the gooseneck into the holder.
- Place the magnetic MC 8 on or in the piano and aim the capsule.
- Connect the cable to the MCM 100 output stage or to the wireless bodypack transmitter.
- Set the gain and check the sound.
Tip: Two MC 8 clips allow a stereo setup.
