The SEETRONICS MP3X is a particularly slender 1/4 inch (6.3 mm) stereo plug with a chrome plated zinc die-cast shell and nickel plated brass contacts, for professional cable assembly.
The slim body gives the highest packing density, the strong die-cast housing has a novel design and the chuck jacket gives reliable cable retention. The polished design provides maximum handling convenience. Cables of 4 to 7 mm outer diameter fit the clamp: for 5.5 to 7 mm cables part of the clamp tail is broken off. The plug is rated for more than 1000 mating cycles and is certified to IEC 60603-11 / EIA RS-453.

Assembly
- Thread the cable through the bushing (tail sleeve)
- Strip the cable to the size shown in the data sheet
- Solder the conductors to the inner core
- Snap the cable into the clip
- Push the inner core into the housing, convex bars aligned
- Tighten the tail sleeve clockwise
- For 5.5-7 mm cables, break off part of the clamp tail first
