Product overview

The SEETRONICS SE8MC-05-NEW is an IP65 waterproof RJ45 cable carrier connector with a chrome plated zinc alloy die-cast housing, for Ethernet connections in commercial applications and harsh outdoor environments.

It is the upgraded version of the SE8MC-02-NEW and is used with the SEETRONICS 05 series connectors. A push button lock with a sturdy spring inside allows exceptionally quick plugging and unplugging with one hand, and it can still be unlocked even if the spring breaks. The sturdy die-cast housing and unique waterproof cable clamp protect Ethernet connections; a standard RJ45 plug is fitted to the cable by the user.

Assembly

Thread the cable through the boot and the cable clamp, terminate a standard RJ45 plug, put the plug into the cable clip so that its A1 and B1 sides meet the A2 and B2 sides of the clip, close the clip, push the assembly into the housing and tighten the boot clockwise.
