The SEETRONICS ST224 is a 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) mono plug with a nickel plated zinc alloy housing and a precision machined one-piece brass contact without rivets.
Machining the contact from a single piece removes rivets as points of failure. Housing and contact are both nickel plated, the plug takes cables up to 7 mm outer diameter with 1.0 mm² (18 AWG) conductors, and it is rated for more than 1000 mating cycles, for instrument cables, patch cords and other audio leads.

Assembly
- Put the cable through the housing, insulation tube and spring
- Strip the cable to the size shown in the data sheet
- Solder the conductors to the inner core and snap the cable into the clip
- Fit the inner core into the housing and tighten the tail sleeve clockwise
