Product overview
The XVIVE U3 Microphone Wireless System is a high-fidelity, plug-and-play 2.4 GHz wireless system that makes any dynamic microphone wireless, live, at home or in the studio.
The system is a transmitter that plugs onto the microphone's XLR connector and a receiver that plugs into a mixer, sound interface, preamp, powered speaker, XLR cable or snake. Audio is 24-bit / 48 kHz with a wide, smooth frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz (-3 dB), 110 dB dynamic range, 0.2 % total harmonic distortion and 5 ms latency, over the licence-free 2.4 GHz ISM band with a range of up to 27.5 m (90 ft) in line of sight.

Key features
- Plug-and-play wireless for dynamic microphones and battery-powered condenser microphones
- 24-bit / 48 kHz audio with 20 Hz - 20 kHz frequency response and 110 dB dynamic range
- 2.4 GHz ISM worldwide open band, no licence needed
- 6 switchable channels, up to 6 systems at the same time
- 5 ms latency and 0.2 % total harmonic distortion
- Mic and Line modes on the transmitter (0 dB / -10 dB)
- Internal rechargeable batteries in transmitter and receiver: up to 5 hours
- Charges both units together from the included dual-USB cable (5 V)
The transmitter
The U3T transmitter has an XLR (female) microphone input with a circumferential ground spring and a Mic Lock that secures it to the microphone. Its controls are an input level switch (MIC = 0 dB, LINE = -10 dB), a power switch, a channel switch for channels 1-6 with a channel LED, a power status LED and a USB charging port. It measures 31 x 29 x 98 mm, weighs 93 g and has a mute function.
The receiver
The U3R receiver has an XLR (male) output, a power switch, a channel switch for channels 1-6 with a channel LED, an RF status LED (on = linked, flashing = signal interference, off = transmitter off or unlinked), a power status LED and a USB port for charging. It measures 98 x 31 x 29 mm and weighs 92 g.
Batteries and charging
Both units have internal rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that last up to 5 hours. They charge at the same time from the included dual-USB cable and any standard 5 V USB charger, in 1.5 to 2.5 hours depending on the charger; a 15 minute charge gives about 30 minutes of use.
Applications
Singers, rappers, harmonica players, public speakers, DJs, actors and auctioneers can move freely while performing. The receiver can go straight into the XLR input of a powered speaker, so a crowd can be addressed without a mixer, or into an XLR cable or snake so the transmitter only has to reach the front of the stage. The U3 also serves microphones on violins, trumpets, saxophones, accordions and guitar amplifiers, and balanced XLR outputs of multi-effect processors or keyboards.
