Product overview
The XVIVE U35 Microphone Wireless System is a 5.8 GHz True Diversity, plug-and-play wireless system that makes any dynamic microphone wireless, live, at home or in the studio.
The U35 broadcasts on the 5.8 GHz band, avoiding interference from common 2.4 GHz devices. The transmitter plugs onto the microphone; the receiver plugs into a mixer, sound interface, preamp, XLR cable or snake and scans automatically for the best of the 6 channels. Audio is 24-bit / 48 kHz with a 20 Hz - 20 kHz (-3 dB) frequency response, 110 dB signal-to-noise ratio, 0.2 % total harmonic distortion and 5 ms latency, with a range of up to 30.5 m (100 ft) in line of sight.

Key features
- 5.8 GHz True Diversity wireless system for dynamic microphones
- Automatic scanning for the best signal out of 6 channels
- 24-bit / 48 kHz audio with 20 Hz - 20 kHz frequency response and 110 dB dynamic range
- Range up to 30.5 m (100 ft) in line of sight
- Mic mode for dynamic microphones and Line mode for wireless audio from a mixer to a powered speaker
- Up to 6 U35 sets at the same time in one area
- Internal rechargeable batteries: up to 5 hours
- Charges both units together from the included dual-USB cable
The transmitter
The U35T transmitter has a balanced XLR (female) input with a circumferential grounding spring and a lock button that releases it from the XLR port. Its controls are an input mode switch (MIC = 0 dB, LINE = -10 dB), a power switch, a channel switch for channels 1-6 with a channel LED, a mute switch, a power status LED and a USB charging port. It measures 31 x 29 x 98 mm and weighs 93 g. Line mode attenuates the signal by 10 dB when an XLR output sends too much level.
The receiver
The U35R receiver has a balanced XLR (male) output, a power switch, a channel switch for channels 1-6 with a channel LED, an RF status LED (on = linked, flashing = signal interference, off = transmitter off or unlinked), a power status LED and a USB port for charging. Holding the channel button for 3 seconds starts the channel scan; the LED then stays on the best channel. It measures 81 x 31 x 29 mm and weighs 92 g.
Batteries and charging
Both units have internal rechargeable lithium-ion batteries that last up to 5 hours. The dual-USB cable charges them at the same time from any 5 V / 2 A USB charger or USB power source; a full charge takes about 2.5 hours and 30 minutes of charging gives about 1 hour of use.
Applications
Singers, rappers, harmonica players, public speakers, DJs, actors and auctioneers can move freely while performing. The receiver can go straight into the XLR input of a powered speaker, or into an XLR cable or snake so the transmitter only has to reach the front of the stage. In Line mode the U35 runs wirelessly from a PA mixing console to a powered main speaker or between powered mains or monitors. It also serves instrument and amplifier microphones, balanced XLR outputs of multi-effect processors or keyboards, and DSLR cameras through an adapter to the camera's (usually 3.5 mm) audio input.

FAQs
Why does the XVIVE U35 use 5.8 GHz?
XVIVE states that broadcasting on the 5.8 GHz band avoids interference from common 2.4 GHz devices.
Does the U35 work with condenser microphones?
It works with XLR dynamic microphones and battery-powered condenser microphones. For condenser microphones that need 48 V or 12 V phantom power, XVIVE makes the U35C.
How does the channel scan work?
Hold the receiver's channel button for 3 seconds: the channel LED flashes while scanning and then stays on the best channel. Then set the transmitter to the same channel.
Where can I buy the XVIVE U35 Microphone Wireless System in India?
The XVIVE U35 Microphone Wireless System is available from Shivansh Electronics, Kolkata, West Bengal, India, with delivery across India.
