Top-shelf microphone
XVIVE refused to compromise on the microphone: the supercardioid gooseneck condenser microphone is perfectly voiced for violin and viola and, with a max. SPL of 142 dB and -45 dB sensitivity, gives the natural sound of the instrument wherever you go. The gooseneck is adjustable, so the microphone can be positioned to capture the tone of the instrument best. It connects to the transmitter with a locking 1/8 inch balanced TRS plug.
Control the wind
With wireless you move around more as you perform. The foam windscreen protects the microphone from dust and liquids and filters wind noise; outdoors in strong wind the fur windshield removes noise and distortion.
Transmitter and receiver
The transmitter (40 x 29 x 50 mm, 35 g) has a power switch, a channel switch for channels 1-6 with channel LEDs, a power status LED and a USB Type-C charging port. The receiver (31 x 29 x 98 mm, 92 g) has a balanced XLR male output, a power switch, a channel switch, a channel status LED, an RF status LED and a USB Type-C port. Press and hold the power buttons for 3 seconds and set both units to the same channel; the receiver's LED stays on when the connection is successful.
Charge it
Charge transmitter and receiver at the same time with the dual USB-C cable and any 5 V / 2 A USB power supply: 30 minutes gives 1 hour of play time, 1.25 hours gives 2 hours and 2.5 hours gives the full 5 hours.
