Product overview
The ECLER SAMI-603 is an analogue installation mixer in 1 RU rack format with 1 MIC input, 4 MIC/LINE stereo inputs and 1 LINE stereo input, and 3 outputs that can be set as 1 stereo pair plus 1 mono, or 3 independent mono outputs.
Every input channel has a volume control and A, B and C buttons that send it to one or more outputs, so each output gets its own mix: music in one zone, music and announcements in another, paging only in a third. Outputs A/B and output C each have a 3-band tone control. Talkover (priority) can be switched on for inputs 1 to 5 over the output buses, a MUTE input lets a fire detection or safety system silence all three outputs, and +18 V phantom power is available for condenser microphones.
| Inputs x outputs | 6 x 3 |
| Independent routing A, B, C | 3 zones |
| Tone control | 2 x 3‑band |
| Power consumption | 6.3 W |
Key features

- MUTE remote input by dry contact for fire detection and safety systems
- +18 V phantom power for MIC inputs; universal external power supply
Three zones from one mixer
With the STEREO/SINGLE switch in STEREO, OUT A sets the level of A (left) and B (right) together for a stereo zone, with C as a separate mono zone. In SINGLE, A, B and C have their own volume controls for three mono zones. Output C always receives the mono sum of the line inputs assigned to it.
Microphones and line sources
Inputs accept low impedance (200 to 600 Ω) mono microphones on Euroblock with a rear GAIN control, or line sources on RCA with a MONO/STEREO switch. Line input 6 has an internal 0 / -6 dBV sensitivity jumper for media players, tablets and phones.
Priority and safety
Talkover attenuates the non-priority inputs by 30 dB while an announcement is made, returning after 2 seconds. A dry contact on the MUTE terminal silences all three outputs.

ECLER SAMI-603: frequently asked questions
Can each zone get a different mix?
Yes. Each input has A, B and C buttons to send it to one or more of the three outputs.
Can I use it as three mono zones?
Yes. With the STEREO/SINGLE switch in SINGLE, outputs A, B and C have independent volume controls.
Does it have phantom power?
Yes, +18 V for the MIC inputs, enabled with an internal jumper (off by default).
Can a fire alarm mute it?
Yes. The MUTE input accepts a dry contact closure and silences all three outputs.
Where can I buy the ECLER SAMI-603 in India?
The ECLER SAMI-603 is available from Shivansh Electronics, Kolkata, West Bengal, India, with delivery across India.
Workflow 1: Retail background music with announcements

Connections
| Connect | To |
|---|---|
| Paging microphone | MIC input 1 (Euroblock) |
| Media player | LINE input (RCA) |
| Main output (Euroblock) | Power amplifier |
Setup
- Set input 1 to MIC with the rear selector and adjust GAIN.
- Connect the music player to a LINE input.
- Switch on talkover (tk) for the microphone input.
- Set the output volume so the amplifier clip LEDs light only on the strongest bass.
Tip: Talkover lowers the music by 30 dB while the announcement is made.
Workflow 2: Fire alarm muting
Installations that must fall silent when the fire alarm starts.
Connections
| Connect | To |
|---|---|
| Fire detection panel relay (dry contact) | MUTE terminal |
| Main output | Amplifier |
Setup
- Wire the alarm relay contact to the MUTE terminal.
- Trigger a test alarm.
- Check that the MUTE LED lights and the output is silenced.
Tip: The MUTE input works by external dry contact closure (normally open).
Workflow 3: Stereo shop floor plus mono stockroom
A stereo sales area and a mono back-of-house zone.
Connections
| Connect | To |
|---|---|
| OUT A (left) and OUT B (right) | Stereo amplifier |
| OUT C | Mono amplifier |
Setup
- Set the STEREO/SINGLE switch to STEREO.
- Route music to A, B and C and the paging microphone to all outputs.
- Set OUT A for the stereo zone and OUT C for the mono zone.
Tip: In STEREO mode OUT A controls A and B together.
Workflow 4: Classroom or training room
A teacher microphone and a computer or media player.
Connections
| Connect | To |
|---|---|
| Condenser microphone | MIC input (+18 V phantom enabled) |
| Computer | LINE input |
| Main output | Amplifier |
Setup
- Enable phantom power with the internal jumper for condenser microphones.
- Connect the computer to a line input.
- Set levels and enable talkover on the microphone if needed.
Tip: Phantom power is off by default (factory setting).
Workflow 5: Three-zone restaurant
Dining room, bar and terrace with separate levels.
Connections
| Connect | To |
|---|---|
| OUT A / OUT B / OUT C | Three amplifier channels or zone amplifiers |
Setup
- Set the STEREO/SINGLE switch to SINGLE.
- Press the A, B and C buttons of each input to build each zone's mix.
- Set OUT A, OUT B and OUT C volumes and the two tone controls.
Tip: Output C always receives the mono sum of the line inputs assigned to it.
Workflow 6: Recording or second zone feed
Recording meetings or feeding another area.
Connections
| Connect | To |
|---|---|
| AUX/REC output (RCA) | Recorder or second amplifier |
Setup
