Product overview

The ECLER SAMI-612 is an analogue installation mixer in 1 RU rack format with 6 MIC/LINE stereo inputs, a stereo MIX input, a stereo MAIN output and a stereo REC output, and a 3-band tone control on every input.

A dedicated 3-band tone control on each input, adjusted with a screwdriver, makes it easy to get a balanced microphone mix in an installation. Input 1 has talkover (priority) over the mix bus with an internal release time adjustment, plus a direct microphone jack on the front panel. The MIX input gives direct access to the mixing bus to link another mixer and add inputs. The main output has a mono / stereo switch, and a MUTE input lets a fire detection or safety system silence the mixer.

Inputs x outputs 6 x 2
Tone control on every input 6 x 3‑band
Phantom power +18 V
Power consumption 6.8 W

Key features

  • 6 input channels, 2 main outputs, 19 inch 1 RU installation mixer
  • Three-band tone controls on each channel, set with a screwdriver
  • Direct microphone input on the front panel, channel 1
  • Talkover on input 1 with internal release time adjustment
  • Rear microphone GAIN and +18 V phantom power on all MIC inputs
  • MIX input: direct access to the mixing bus to link another mixer
  • Recording output and two internally adjustable output levels
  • LED level meter for the mix and mono / stereo switch
  • MUTE remote input by dry contact for fire detection and safety systems

A tone control for every microphone

Each of the six inputs has its own bass, mid and treble controls (100 Hz, 2 kHz, 10 kHz, ±15 dB), set with a screwdriver so the sound stays as the installer left it. This is what makes a clean mix of several microphones possible in meeting rooms, churches and halls.

Priority on input 1

Input 1, with its rear Euroblock and a front panel jack, has talkover over the mix bus: when it carries a signal, the other inputs are attenuated by 30 dB. The release time is adjustable internally.

Expandable

The MIX input connects straight to the mixing bus, so a second mixer can be linked to increase the number of inputs. The REC output feeds a recorder or another zone.

In the box

  • 1 x SAMI-612 mixer
  • 1 x ±17.5 V DC external multi-plug power supply
  • Euroblock connectors
  • Rubber feet
  • Mini jumpers
