Product overview

The ECLER TRAIL103 is a 3 inch lamp-style loudspeaker that installs on ceiling lighting rails, on surfaces or on a truss, with high impedance (15 W and 30 W taps on a 100 V line) and low impedance (4 Ω) connections.

Looking like a track spotlight, the TRAIL103 adds sound to shops, restaurants, galleries and offices without changing the look of the ceiling. Its swivel arm aims it like a light, all three mounting accessories are in the box, and it covers 115 Hz to 20 kHz (-10 dB) with 180° x 180° coverage. It is available in white (RAL 9003) and black (RAL 9005).

Sound on the lighting rail

The factory-fitted adapter clips onto 4 wire / 3 circuit lighting tracks and locks with a safety catch, so the TRAIL103 can sit between spotlights and be aimed the same way.

100 V or 4 Ω

Two Euroblock inputs under the rear cover choose the mode: HI-Z for 100 V lines (blue wire 15 W, red wire 30 W; half on 70 V) or LO-Z for 4 Ω amplifiers (30 W maximum). Connecting the LO-Z input to a 100 V line would seriously damage the speaker.

Surface and truss

For walls and ceilings, the surface accessory (base and cover) replaces the rail adapter and is fixed with four Ø 4 mm screws. For trusses or threaded bars, an aluminium plate and M10 toothed washer fix the arm.
