Product overview

The ECLER VEO-XPT412 is a professional HDBaseT extender kit with a transmitter and a receiver: 18 Gbps HDMI, 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 up to 120 m or 1080p up to 150 m over a single Cat 5e or higher cable.

Both units have a stereo unbalanced audio output on a Euroblock connector for easy integration, and bidirectional PoH lets the transmitter be powered by the receiver and vice versa, so one 24 V supply runs the whole link. RS-232 and bidirectional IR extension travel with the video, making the VEO-XPT412 a compact, flexible and easy-to-use solution for AV and control signal extension in education, corporate and hospitality installations.

Key features

  • Transmitter and receiver set for HDBaseT extension over one Cat 5e or higher cable
  • HDMI 18 Gbps 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 (with colour space conversion) as specified in HDMI 2.0b
  • 4K 60 Hz up to 120 m, 1080p 60 Hz up to 150 m

Long 4K runs

HDBaseT 1.0 carries 4K 60 Hz 4:4:4 for up to 120 m and 1080p for up to 150 m on a single cable, point to point. ECLER asks for good quality shielded Cat 5e or higher cable and shielded connectors.

Audio at both ends

Each unit extracts stereo audio to a 3-pin Euroblock output, so amplifiers can be fed next to the source or next to the display.

Control and power over the link

IR receiver and blaster cables, RS-232 terminal blocks and CEC let sources and displays be controlled from either end, and the 24 V supply can be plugged into either unit.
