The ELECTRO-VOICE ELX200 12S is a passive 12-inch subwoofer that packs powerful low-frequency output into a compact footprint: a custom EVS-12L woofer designed and engineered by EV delivers up to 129 dB peak SPL and reaches 33 Hz (-10 dB), in black or white.

Every part of the ELX200 series is designed to work as a whole. The ELX200 12S uses a tuned 15 mm braced-plywood enclosure with a durable polyurea top-coat and an 18 AWG powder-coated steel grille, and its reliability is verified with over 500 hours of abuse and endurance testing. Two 4-pole speaker connectors chain subwoofer and tops cleanly, an integrated M20 threaded pole-mount plate carries an ELX200 full-range cabinet above, and two handles make it easy to lift, for portable and installed systems alike.

Stacking with ELX200 tops

Place the subwoofer on a level surface, screw an M20 pole into the combo pole cup on top and set an ELX200 full-range cabinet on the pole. Connect the amplifier to the ELX200 12S and link to the top from the second connector (pins 1+ and 1-): one subwoofer and full-range combination is a 4 Ω nominal load, two are 2 Ω, adding low end without extra amplifier channels.
