Product overview
The FONESTAR DSA-302 is a digital stereo power amplifier with 2 x 300 W RMS at 4 Ω, 2 x 200 W RMS at 8 Ω or 600 W RMS in bridge mode at 8 Ω, in 1 U of 19 inch rack.
The DSA series amplifiers deliver high power and sound quality. The DSA-302 is a class D power amplifier of high efficiency and reliability with a switched-mode power supply. Soft start, forced ventilation with variable speed and protection circuits (temperature, short circuit, overload, VHF, DC, AC and channel limiter) give high reliability. Audio inputs use standard XLR and 6.3 mm jack combo connectors with a volume control for each channel, and the speaker outputs offer screw terminals, banana plugs or a loudspeaker connector. It is very user-friendly with minimal set-up time, for mobile events and fixed installations.
| At 4 Ω | 2 x 300 W RMS |
| At 8 Ω | 2 x 200 W RMS |
| Bridge mode, 8 Ω | 600 W RMS |
| 19 inch rack, 2.75 kg | 1 U |
Key features
- Professional digital stereo power amplifier
- High efficiency class D circuit and switch-mode power supply
- Stereo and parallel: 300 + 300 W RMS at 4 Ω, 200 + 200 W RMS at 8 Ω
- Bridge mode: 600 W RMS at 8 Ω
- Balanced combo inputs (XLR and 6.3 mm jack) with volume per channel
- Outputs on screw terminals, banana plugs or loudspeaker connector
- Soft start, forced ventilation, protections and channel limiter
- GND lift switch
- 1 U 19 inch rack, 2.75 kg
Three operating modes
A selector on the rear sets the mode. In stereo the two channels work independently. In parallel the CH A input feeds both channels, each with its own volume. In bridge the two channels combine into one 600 W RMS output for an 8 Ω loudspeaker, taken from the positive terminals or the CH A loudspeaker connector.
Built for reliability
Soft start, forced ventilation with variable speed and protection against temperature, short circuit, overload, VHF, DC and AC, plus a channel limiter, keep the amplifier working through long events.
Simple connection
Balanced line inputs on combo connectors (20,000 Ω), CLIP and SIGNAL lights per channel and a GND/LIFT switch to remove ground noise make set-up quick on stage or in the rack.
