The FONESTAR MPX-440X is a 4-port RD expansion for the FONESTAR MPX-4088 audio matrix: one RD line becomes one audio port and three control ports, with power and connection LEDs for each port.
The MPX-4088 system is a highly versatile FONESTAR audio matrix, perfect for installations of any size, with a multitude of configuration options, DSP signal processing and integrated solutions to common problems such as feedback. The MPX-440X lets more wall controls and audio input points share one RD port of the matrix, connected with RJ-45 Cat 5e cable.

Connection
Connect the RD IN port of the MPX-440X to RD port 9/10 or 11/12 of the matrix. Then connect MPX-420V controls to the RD EXP CONTROL ports and an MPX-400MIC, MPX-410ES or MPX-430VS to the RD EXP AUDIO port, using Cat 5e or superior cable with RJ-45 connectors. The total cable length must not exceed 150 metres for an STP Cat 5e cable.
Indicators
The front shows RD IN, RD EXP 1 to 4 and POWER lights, so the state of every port can be checked at a glance.
