Product overview

The LYNX E44 Rev C is a four analogue, four digital PCI Express audio card with the highest performance A/D and D/A conversion LYNX has built into a PCIe card, for demanding professional recording, broadcast and playback systems.

Built on the legacy of the LynxONE and LynxTWO cards, the E series offers 4 channels of 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion and 4 channels of AES3 or S/PDIF digital I/O at sample rates from 44.1 to 192 kHz. Components are chosen for low noise and distortion, compact circuit topologies cancel external noise pickup, solid-dielectric capacitors give long life and copper planes provide shielding. An FPGA runs the 16 x 8 hardware mixer and the V2 DMA engine, which maximises throughput on the PCIe bus while minimising CPU workload, and keeps the card field-upgradable.

Analogue and digital channels 4 + 4
Maximum sample rate 192 kHz
Line out dynamic range 120 dB
On‑board hardware mixer 16 x 8

LYNX E44 Rev C: frequently asked questions

Which cables do I need?

CBL-L2AudioA for the analogue I/O and CBL-ESYNC for the digital I/O and word clock; both are optional, so only the connections you use are needed.

Which computers does it work with?

Computers with a PCI Express slot (x1) running current operating systems with LYNX drivers, and computers without PCIe slots through a Thunderbolt expansion chassis.

Can several cards share one clock?

Yes. Cards can be clocked by word clock on the sync cable or daisy-chained with the internal clock headers.

Where can I buy the LYNX E44 Rev C in India?

The LYNX E44 Rev C is available from Shivansh Electronics, Kolkata, West Bengal, India, with delivery across India.
