Product overview

The MERGING Anubis Pro is a network audio interface and monitor controller with switchable Missions, mastering-grade analogue I/O, internal signal processing and redundant RAVENNA/AES67 connectivity, with sample rates up to 192 kHz / 32-bit.

ANUBIS is a multi-tool with exceptional sound quality that records and processes audio with the highest resolution. Thanks to its unique 32-bit dual preamp topology designed by MERGING, it offers a dynamic range of up to 136 dB A (mic) / 139 dB A (line), and two reference-quality headphone amplifiers with extremely low impedance deliver high output levels without distortion for all types of headphones. ANUBIS Pro offers sample rates up to 192 kHz at 32-bit resolution.

Dynamic range, line inputs (A) 139 dB
I/O channels to control and route 128 x 128
Preamp gain with Boost 78 dB
32‑bit PCM 192 kHz

  • Up to 78 dB gain (with Boost)
  • 4 line/monitor outputs
  • 2 ultra-low impedance headphone outputs with adjustable crossfeed
  • Redundant RAVENNA/AES67, NMOS and ST2022-7 support
  • Control and route up to 128 x 128 I/O channels
  • Advanced DSP: EQ, dynamics and reverb
  • Intuitive touchscreen GUI for stand-alone operation

Accomplish anything with Missions

The Monitor Mission allows complex routing and full control of all monitor parameters, such as mute, dim and mono, with ultra-precise volume control for stereo, surround or immersive loudspeaker set-ups up to 9.1.6 and beyond, downmix, multiband parametric EQ for each output, delays, trims and advanced bass management. The Music Mission is a 48-input mixing console with EQ, dynamics and reverb and up to five ultra-low latency cue mixes for performers. The optional Commentary and Venue Missions add a simple interface for commentators and personal on-stage headphone mixes with remote-controllable preamps.

Dual gain 32-bit preamps

Every input has two gain-ranged, separate analogue front-ends, each with its own A/D converter, combined seamlessly to expand the headroom and lower the noise floor. Gain steps are totally clickless, and the split channel feature gives every input a second gain for a separate path, for example a recording and a front of house feed, or a peak-safe backup recording.

The AoIP solution

Two RJ45 ports connect ANUBIS to RAVENNA/AES67 networks (256 x 256 channels) for ST2022-7 redundancy or switch mode, with NMOS and SMPTE 2110 support for broadcast. ANUBIS controls the volume and source selection of other MERGING RAVENNA devices, and peering uses the I/O of a HAPI or another ANUBIS as if it were internal, with or without a computer.

Compact and robust

The machined and anodised aluminium body (200 x 128 x 40 mm, 950 g) has a 3/8" mic stand thread underneath, a built-in talkback microphone and a high-resolution touchscreen, and runs from the supplied 12 V DC power supply and/or Power-over-Ethernet (PoE+) for redundancy.

In the box

  • MERGING ANUBIS Pro
  • Soft-shell case
  • Quick start guides
  • Ethernet RJ45 cable
  • Power supply (12 V)
  • Power cables (may vary with the country of purchase)
