The NEUMANN EA 89 A is an all-metal elastic suspension (shock mount) with a swivel mount that protects a NEUMANN studio microphone efficiently against structure-borne noise and mechanical shocks.

The microphone is set into the inner cage of the EA 89 A from above. The swivel mount has a 5/8"-27 female thread, plus a thread adapter to connect to 1/2" and 3/8" stands. Like all NEUMANN elastic suspensions it is fully made of metal, and its elastic rubber bands are available as spare parts. Finish: nickel (EA 89 A) and matte black (EA 89 A mt).
