The NEUMANN Z 48 is an all-metal shock mount (elastic suspension) with a swivel mount for the U 67 and U 87 families of Neumann studio microphones.
Elastic suspensions provide efficient protection against structure-borne noise and mechanical shocks. The microphone is set into the inner cage from above and secured to it with a threaded nut. The swivel mount has a 5/8"-27 female thread for stands, and a thread adapter to connect to 1/2" and 3/8" studs is included. The Z 48 is made entirely of metal and is available in nickel only.
