Product overview

The RME HDSPe AIO Pro is a 30-channel 24-bit / 192 kHz PCI Express audio interface card with stereo analogue I/O, a high-power phones output, ADAT, SPDIF, AES/EBU and MIDI, all usable at the same time.

The completely reworked successor of the HDSPe AIO serves professional users in studio and broadcast. Its AD / DA conversion uses the reference converter design of RME's ADI-2 Pro, with analogue input levels of +24, +19, +13 and +4 dBu and additional output reference levels. A dedicated output attenuator raises the signal-to-noise ratio at low levels, and mute relays keep the phones, XLR and RCA outputs free of crackling when the computer starts. The optional TCO synchronises to LTC and video.

Channels analogue and digital 30
Analogue reference level (XLR) +24 dBu
Phones power per channel (32 Ohm) 730 mW
Analogue SNR 120 dBA

Key features

  • Stereo analogue I/O, 24-bit / 192 kHz, balanced with the optional XLR breakout cable
  • All analogue I/Os at 192 kHz with a constant channel count
  • ADAT I/O (192 kHz via S/MUX4), SPDIF and AES/EBU I/O, both 192 kHz
  • High-power phones output with its own DA converter and playback device, Hi / Lo power
  • MIDI I/O with 16 channels hi-speed MIDI
  • TotalMix FX, SteadyClock FS and DIGICheck
  • Mute relays on the outputs
  • Native PCI Express, no bridge

Reference levels for every studio

Inputs switch between +24, +19, +13 and +4 dBu; outputs offer +24, +19, +13 and +4 dBu balanced or +19, +13, +4 and -2 dBu unbalanced. This makes the card easy to integrate with professional and semi-professional equipment.

A phones output with real power

The newly developed headphone output delivers +19 dBu in Hi-Power mode with 0.1 Ohm output impedance and up to 730 mW per channel into 32 Ohm, with a separate DA converter and its own playback device for an independent submix.

Analogue and digital at the same time

Analogue, ADAT, SPDIF and AES/EBU inputs and outputs all work simultaneously. The ADAT port can also act as optical SPDIF, and SteadyClock FS gives maximum jitter suppression of external clock signals for clean conversion in every clock mode.

In the box

  • Quick Info guide

The basic version ships with unbalanced RCA analogue breakout cables; the analogue XLR breakout cable (BO9632XLRMKH) is optional. Optional Word Clock Module and TCO. Drivers for Windows and macOS.

RME HDSPe AIO Pro: frequently asked questions

Are the analogue inputs and outputs balanced?

With the included RCA breakout cable they are unbalanced. The optional analogue XLR breakout cable turns them balanced, with up to +24 dBu levels.

Can SPDIF and AES/EBU be used at the same time?

Yes. All inputs and outputs work simultaneously, even coaxial SPDIF and AES/EBU.

Does it support word clock?

With the optional Word Clock Module: one galvanically isolated word clock input and two outputs on BNC.

Where can I buy the RME HDSPe AIO Pro in India?
