Product overview
The TASCAM AK-BT2 is a Bluetooth adapter that connects to the Bluetooth device connector of compatible TASCAM products and adds wireless remote control, timecode synchronisation and Bluetooth audio.
On the FR-AV2 field recorder it enables app remote control, wireless timecode sync with compatible timecode devices and audio monitoring through Bluetooth earphones or a speaker. On the MP-800U it adds Bluetooth audio, so sound can be played in from a smartphone or tablet, along with remote control. The adapter uses Bluetooth v5.0 with the SBC A2DP codec and a Class 1 (8.2 mW) transmitter, in a 1.5 g body.
