Music from CDs, USB and SD
The slot-loading drive plays audio CDs and data CDs with MP3 or WMA files, while SD/SDHC cards and USB flash drives add WAV and AAC. Continuous, single and random modes combine with repeat, A-B repeat for audio CDs and folder playback for SD and USB, and the resume function picks up where playback stopped.
Bluetooth streaming and AM/FM radio
Pair a smartphone or tablet with a press of the pairing button and play its library with no cables or file formats to worry about; units with serial numbers from 206 appear with an individual number for easy identification. The built-in tuner stores 20 FM and 20 AM presets, and its separate TUNER OUT jacks let radio play alongside other media.
Dubbing, Incremental Play and Power On Play
Record an audio CD or a radio broadcast to SD or USB as MP3 at 96 to 320 kbps without a computer. Incremental Play makes PLAY jump to the next track and STOP pause at its start, ideal for presentations, and Power On Play starts playback as soon as power is applied, for example from a timer.
Built for contractors
The RS-232C port accepts the full TASCAM command protocol, and the optional IF-E100 Ethernet card adds the same control over the network, including a TASCAM plugin for networked AV control systems (firmware V1.10 or later). Panel lock, remote lock, analogue output attenuation and automatic power saving complete an installation-ready design.

Setup
- Connect the RCA outputs to the amplifier and power up.
- Insert the USB drive or SD card and press SOURCE to select it.
- Press SHIFT + 4 [REPEAT] to turn repeat on and SHIFT + 3 [P.MODE] for random playback if wanted.
- Press PLAY; turn on Power On Play (SHIFT + 2) so music starts whenever the power comes on.
Tip: Panel lock (SHIFT + 1) prevents accidental changes by staff.

Setup
- Connect the XLR outputs to the mixer.

- In the Menu, set Inc. Play to ON.
- Select the first track with the number keys and press PLAY.

Setup
- Connect and place the FM and AM antennas, and store stations with auto preset (SHIFT + 6).
- In the Menu, set Tuner Out Sel. to TUNER OUT.
- Tune the station for zone 2 on the tuner output.
- Select CD, USB, SD or Bluetooth as the current source for zone 1.
Tip: Set Tuner Out Sel. to ALL to send radio to every output.

Setup
- Choose the bit rate in the Menu under Dubbing Format.
- Load the CD or tune the station and select it as the source.
- Press SHIFT + 0 [DUB], choose USB or SD with the MULTI JOG dial and press DUB again.
- Press STOP to finish (a CD stops by itself after the last track).
Tip: Turn on DUB AutoMute to silence the analogue outputs while recording.
