Product overview
The XVIVE PT-10 Tuner Pedal is a professional-grade chromatic tuner pedal for guitars, basses and any tunable electric instrument with a 1/4 inch output, with True Bypass and Buffered Bypass modes and a bright display that is easy to read on a dark stage or in direct sunlight.
The PT-10 tunes with an accuracy of ± 1 cent over the full range of an 88-key piano, from A0 to C8, and its reference pitch can be set from A430 Hz to A450 Hz (default A440 Hz). Stepping on the footswitch turns the tuner on and mutes the output, so you can tune silently; the rugged metal enclosure does not need the safety of a pedalboard.

True or buffered
The PT-10 helps optimise the pass-through signal with two modes. True Bypass preserves the original tone without colouration: the way to go for tonal purity and a smaller set-up. Buffered Bypass maintains signal clarity over long cable runs and through large pedalboards: a good choice with long cables or many pedals between the instrument and the amplifier.
Clear and bright
Whether on a dark stage or outdoors under direct sunlight, the bright, high-contrast screen is always easy to see. The note is shown in the middle in white; blue dots mean the string is flat, red dots mean it is sharp, and a perfectly tuned note shows a green circle in the centre with solid green dots on both sides.
Go high and low
Tune from below a low B on a 5-string bass (A0) to more than an octave above the range of a standard electric guitar (C8). Chromatic note detection covers C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, G#, A, A# and B, with an accuracy of ± 1 cent.
Reference pitch and controls
Press the A4 button to enter adjustment mode: the current reference pitch is displayed and each short press raises it by 1 Hz, cycling back to 430 Hz after 450 Hz. The footswitch turns the tuner on (screen lit, output muted, MUTE LED on) and off (signal passes through, screen off). The side switch selects True Bypass or Buffered Bypass.
Built tough
The PT-10 feels substantial and protects itself with a rugged metal enclosure. It measures 67 x 115 x 48 mm, weighs 375 g and runs from a 9 V - 12 V DC, centre negative supply with a current consumption of less than 100 mA.
