Product overview

The ECLER MIA-40 is an ultra-compact mini array column loudspeaker with four 0.5 inch drivers in a slim aluminium body, created for near-invisible sound systems. It is supplied as a pair.

The MIA-40 blends into commercial, hospitality, museum and corporate environments while delivering clear and consistent reproduction of voice and ambient music. Its column arrangement gives an even 180° horizontal dispersion with a tight 40° vertical beamwidth (4 kHz to 20 kHz). The non-resonant aluminium enclosure is IP44 rated for indoor and protected outdoor areas, and the speaker measures only 24.6 x 113 x 14.5 mm. Paired with the MIA-BR16 bass reinforcement unit, it forms the MIA SYSTEM, a complete full-range solution for 8 Ω or 70/100 V installations.

Two or four MIA-40 satellites connect to one MIA-BR16 bass reinforcement unit, which connects to a single-channel amplifier. The MIA-BR16 extends the response down to 61 Hz. With 2 x MIA-40 the system covers 51 Hz to 22 kHz at 86 dB sensitivity; with 4 x MIA-40 it covers 55 Hz to 22 kHz at 88 dB, with 166° x 135° coverage and up to 107 dB peak SPL.

Simple wall mounting

Level the drilling template with the bubble level, drill the holes and the cable hole, insert the plugs, connect the 5 m cable, fix the speaker with two screws and press the grille into place. Everything needed is in the box.
