Product overview

The ECLER WiLD-TX is the master transmitter of the WiLD long-distance wireless audio system: it pairs with up to 32 WiLD receivers and sends them uncompressed 16 bit / 48 kHz audio over up to 150 m, with direct line of sight.

WiLD is ECLER's long-distance wireless audio solution for retail spaces, museums and other markets: a cost-effective, robust and user-friendly installation with minimal visual impact. The WiLD-TX takes a stereo RCA line source or a Bluetooth source, adds 3-band tone control and master volume, and transmits a mono conversion of the selected input to every paired WiLD-14 loudspeaker and WiLD-SB18 subwoofer. It also manages the global configuration of the system, offers an external MUTE input and a REMOTE port for a WPaVOL wall panel, and runs from a 5 V USB-C supply.

Key features

  • Master unit of a WiLD network: pairs and feeds up to 32 WiLD-14 and WiLD-SB18 receivers
  • 1880 - 1930 MHz DECT-band wireless audio (EU DECT, US DECT)
  • Up to 150 m recommended range to any paired receiver, direct line of sight
  • Two inputs: stereo unbalanced 2 x RCA and Bluetooth
  • Front panel 3-band EQ (bass, mid, treble) and master volume
  • WiLD PAIR button on the rear for quick pairing of the receivers
  • EXT. MUTE dry-contact input and REMOTE port for a WPaVOL volume panel
  • USB-C 5 V DC power from the supplied universal power supply, also used for firmware updates
  • Flexible mounting: table, wall, under a surface or 1U in a 19 inch rack (accessories included)

One transmitter, a whole venue

Each WiLD-TX has two DECT antennas that transmit audio on the working channel, while a handover algorithm continuously moves the carrier to keep the best link quality. Place the transmitter as centred as possible in the receivers' network, at up to 2 m height, and keep within 150 m of every receiver with no obstacles in between for the most stable connection.

Simple pairing

Press WiLD PAIR on the transmitter, then on each receiver; press it again on the transmitter to finish. The status LED stays lit when the network is established. Pairing is cumulative, so receivers can be added, removed or replaced later. Bluetooth sources pair with a short press of BT PAIR on the front panel.

Installs anywhere

The metal enclosure sits on a table, mounts on a wall or under a shelf with the supplied ears and bracket, or fits 1U of a 19 inch rack with the half rack front adapter. Forced ventilation is not required.
