ECLER WPaBT

Product overview

The ECLER WPaBT is a class 1 Bluetooth receiver (version 5.0, range 25 m) in the wall panel format of the ECLER WPa series, with a balanced stereo Euroblock output.

Guests and staff stream music from a phone, tablet or laptop straight into the sound system. The output can be stereo or dual-mono, a GPO signals an active A2DP connection for automatic priority management, and the blue PAIR LED can be switched off in dark rooms. Name, PIN, output mode and more are set with the ECLER Bluetooth Manager computer application through a USB-C port behind the front cover, without removing the panel from the wall.

Pairing in seconds

Hold PAIR for 2 to 3 seconds and the LED flashes fast: the panel is visible as Ecler-WPaBT for one minute. A steady LED means connected, one flash per second means waiting. The most recently paired device takes priority, and the number of remembered devices is configurable.

A remote input for HUB zoners

Next to an ECLER eMCONTROL1 in a double box, the WPaBT feeds one output in mono to the HUB over the eMCONTROL1 CAT5 link and takes its power from the HUB, so no local supply is needed.

How is the WPaBT powered?

From a 24 V DC external supply (ECLER WP24-PSU, optional; one can power up to 10 WPaBT units) or from the HUB through an eMCONTROL1.

Can the output be mono?

Yes. In the ECLER Bluetooth Manager application the output can be set to mono: both outputs then carry the same signal (dual-mono).

Setup

1. Mount the panel in its surface box.
2. Wire the outputs and the 24 V supply.
3. Hold PAIR 2-3 s and pair the phone.
4. Set the level at the amplifier.
