The ELECTRO-VOICE ELX200 12P is a powered 12-inch two-way loudspeaker: an EV-engineered EVS-12M 12-inch woofer and a DH-1L 1-inch titanium compression driver, driven by a 1200 W Class-D amplifier, deliver up to 130 dB peak SPL through the patented SST waveguide, with QuickSmartDSP on board and QuickSmart Mobile control over Bluetooth.

QuickSmartDSP

Push the MASTER VOL knob to enter the menu. MODE sets Music, Live, Speech or Club; LOCATION optimises the response for a tripod, the floor (monitor), a wall or three-point suspension; SUB adds a 24 dB/octave high-pass at 80, 100, 120 or 150 Hz or a matched ELX200 subwoofer setting with delay for best summation. Treble (6 kHz), mid (1.8 kHz) and bass (60 Hz) adjust from -12 to +6 dB, five named presets can be stored and recalled, and LOCK keeps the settings safe while the volume stays free.

Control from the audience area

With CONTROL APP switched on, the QuickSmart Mobile app on a phone or tablet finds the loudspeakers, connects up to six and controls them together, with alerts when the system is being overdriven. Bluetooth is available in select countries.

Stand, wedge or install

Set the ELX200 12P on a tripod or on a pole above an ELX200 subwoofer and tighten the thumb screw, lay it on its monitor angle as a stage wedge, or install it with the ELX200 wall mount bracket or forged M10 eyebolts. The OUTPUT XLR sends the mix of both inputs to the next loudspeaker or a subwoofer.

Can I connect a microphone directly?

Yes. Both inputs are XLR / 1/4-inch TRS combo jacks with LINE and MIC level control: turn the input level right of zero for microphones.
