The ELECTRO-VOICE EVID-S 5.2X is an IP65 two-way 5.25-inch surface-mount loudspeaker, sold in pairs, with a marine-grade aluminium grille against sun, salt and moisture for seafront, poolside and exposed sites.
It reaches 55 Hz to 20 kHz with 75 W power handling (300 W peak) and 108 dB maximum SPL (114 dB peak), covers 90° x 90°, and carries a 60 W transformer for 70 V or 100 V lines plus 8 Ω. It is certified to UL 1480 / ULC-S541, UL 1480A / CSA C22.2 No. 205 and EN 54-24 Type B for voice evacuation, paging and music.

Installation
Draw a level line, fix the U-bracket with two screws, wire the Euroblock through the gland nuts of the weather cover, set the tap on the input panel, then fit the loudspeaker to the bracket with the two supplied screws, aim it and tighten. An extra safety point back to the structure is recommended.
Fire and voice alarm installations
In UL 1480 / ULC-S541 and EN 54-24 installations the weather cover must be used and the loudspeaker is not painted; the 60 W tap is not used in UL installations.
