The FONESTAR SKY-8T is an 8 inch ceiling loudspeaker with a 100 V line transformer (20, 10 and 5 W taps at 100 V), a low-profile, frameless aluminium grille, quick-connect terminals and an anti-fall system.

The SKY-8T combines a discreet, elegant design with advanced technical features for indoor and outdoor sound installations in commercial, industrial and residential projects. The frameless grille in rust-resistant aluminium is detachable and turn-lockable, the logo can be removed and the grille painted. An 8 inch polypropylene double cone diaphragm delivers up to 27 W maximum over a 40-15,000 Hz response, and IP-44 protection with a neutral salt spray test suits demanding conditions.

A discreet, customisable look

The frameless grille sits low on the ceiling. Remove the logo and paint the grille to match the room, from hotel rooms to shops and offices.

Simple and safe installation

Remove the grille, fit a safety cable to the hook, connect the cables to the tap-lock terminals, place the speaker in the 273 mm hole where the anti-drop system holds it, tighten the worm-gear brackets and lock the grille by turning it.

100 V line installations

Connect COM and the terminal of the chosen tap to the 100 V line: 20 W (500 Ω), 10 W (1,000 Ω) or 5 W (2,000 Ω). Many speakers can share one amplifier over long cable runs, with input and output terminals to loop the line on.

Reliable materials

UV-resistant ABS and an aluminium grille with anti-corrosion liquid paint give durability; the SKY-8T operates from -20 °C to 70 °C (48 h) at up to 95 % humidity.
