The FONESTAR SONORA-3 is a 3 inch surface loudspeaker with low impedance (8 Ω), IP-66 protection and a salt spray test, ready for indoor and outdoor public address and background sound.

SONORA is a FONESTAR series of loudspeakers specially designed for PA, music and background sound. Its excellent finish and elegant design let it blend into any space, and the SONORA-3 is fully prepared for outdoor use with a powder-coated aluminium grille, a UV-resistant ABS enclosure and A2 stainless steel screws. Its 3 inch polypropylene woofer delivers clear, distortion-free sound from 130 to 20,000 Hz. Every speaker comes with a weatherproofed adjustable mount and stainless steel screws for a quick installation in restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, shopping centres, hotels and schools.

Ready for outdoor spaces

The SONORA-3 is protected to IP-66 and has passed the IEC 60068-2-11 salt spray test, so it suits terraces, pools, gardens and coastal sites as well as indoor spaces. The ABS enclosure resists UV light, the aluminium mesh grille has a powder-coated finish and the mount is weather-resistant.

Low impedance connection

The SONORA-3 is a low impedance (8 Ω) loudspeaker for direct connection to an amplifier output, rated 20 W max., 12 W RMS. The Euroblock input and output let you loop the signal on to a further loudspeaker; check the conditions for a low impedance installation and use appropriate power, impedance and frequency limits, as FONESTAR advises.

Quick and easy installation

Fix the wall plate, connect the input and output cables, insert the connector and replace the cover, then fit the speaker on the support and tighten the screw. The support turns ±30° horizontally and +15°/-45° vertically to aim the sound where it is needed.
