The FONESTAR SONORA-6T is a 6 inch two-way surface loudspeaker with a 100 V line transformer and a low impedance position, IP-66 protection and a salt spray test, ready for indoor and outdoor public address and background sound.

SONORA is a FONESTAR series of loudspeakers specially designed for PA and background sound. Its excellent finish and elegant design let it blend into any space, and the SONORA-6T is fully prepared for outdoor use with a powder-coated aluminium grille, a UV-resistant ABS enclosure and A2 stainless steel screws. A 6 inch polypropylene woofer and a 1 inch tweeter deliver crisp, distortion-free sound from 75 to 20,000 Hz. Every speaker comes with a weatherproofed adjustable mount, stainless steel screws and a steel safety cable for a quick installation in restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, shopping centres, hotels and schools.

Ready for outdoor spaces

The SONORA-6T is protected to IP-66 and has passed the IEC 60068-2-11 salt spray test, so it suits terraces, pools, gardens and coastal sites as well as indoor spaces. The ABS enclosure resists UV light, the aluminium mesh grille has a powder-coated finish and the mount is weather-resistant. Round cables through the rubber glands keep the IP protection.

100 V line or low impedance

The W selector sets the power: 60, 30, 15 or 7.5 W RMS at 100 V, the 70 V taps, or the low Z 8 Ω position for direct connection to an amplifier. The Euroblock input and output loop the line on to the next loudspeaker, so many speakers can share one amplifier on long cable runs.

Quick and easy installation

Fix the wall plate, connect the input and output cables, click the speaker onto the bracket, select the power and close the connector cover. The bracket turns ±60° in all directions to aim the sound where it is needed, and the steel safety cable adds security.
