Product overview
The RME ARC USB Black Edition is the black version of RME's Advanced Remote Control for TotalMix FX, with 15 freely assignable, illuminated keys, a large encoder wheel and a footswitch input.
RME offers the ARC USB in two versions, classic aluminium and Black Edition, with identical function. This wired remote gives direct access to the most frequently used actions and commands of TotalMix FX: snapshots, Mono, DIM, Speaker B, Talkback, Cue, phones volume and more than 40 commands in total. It is a USB 1.1 MIDI remote, natively compatible with Windows and Mac and detected by TotalMix FX automatically; it is bus powered and works with long USB cables, and it can control several RME interfaces at the same time.

Setup
- Connect the ARC USB Black Edition; TotalMix FX detects it.
- Open Options - ARC & Key Commands and load Default or assign your own commands.
- Use rows 1 and 2 to recall snapshots.
- Turn the wheel for volume; hold shift for 0.1 dB steps.
Tip: Relabel the keys with the included stickers.
