The SONODYNE INSTALL 4.1 is a 4.1 channel passive speaker system with four satellites, one subwoofer and an inbuilt crossover, built around the SONODYNE Micro 3001 satellite speaker.

The four satellites are Micro 3001 compact 2-way speakers designed for high quality music and multichannel audio: a 3 inch woofer and a 0.5 inch polycone tweeter, crossed over at 6.5 kHz, in a uniquely shaped ABS moulded enclosure that blends easily into residential and commercial interiors. The fifth speaker is a passive subwoofer with inbuilt crossover. The system comes in black or white.

The Micro 3001 satellite

Each satellite is a 2 way ported speaker with a 3 inch woofer and a 0.5 inch polycone tweeter, crossover at 6.5 kHz, 8 Ω nominal impedance, 87 dB sensitivity (1 W, 1 m), frequency response 100 Hz - 20 kHz and frequency range 80 Hz - 22 kHz. SONODYNE recommends 40 - 100 W of amplifier power. It can be used for left, centre, right and surround channels.

Installation

The Micro 3001 is installed with its integrated keyhole slot or the supplied wall mount bracket; the input is a binding post. It measures 171 x 100 x 108 mm (H x W x D) and weighs 0.75 kg.
