Product overview
The LYNX DB-ADAT is an ADAT and S/PDIF daughter board for the LM-DIG AES/EBU module, giving the Aurora(n) 16 channels of optical ADAT I/O and S/PDIF connectivity.
Continuing the LYNX tradition of non-obsolescence design, the DB-ADAT lets the Aurora(n) connect directly with other audio devices that support ADAT and S/PDIF. It also turns the Aurora(n) into a bi-directional format converter, from ADAT to AES/EBU and analogue and back to ADAT, while SynchroLock 2, with 300,000:1 jitter reduction, gives immunity to the high jitter typical of optical signals.
| ADAT channels at 44.1 / 48 kHz | 16 x 16 |
| Optical connectors: 2 in, 2 out | 4 |
| SynchroLock 2 jitter reduction | 300,000:1 |
| ADAT at 2 channels per port | 192 kHz |
Key features
- ADAT daughter board for the LM-DIG AES/EBU digital I/O module
- ADAT and S/PDIF connectivity in an Aurora(n)
- 4 high-quality optical connectors: two inputs and two outputs
- 8 channels per port (16 total) at 44.1 and 48 kHz
- 4 channels per port (8 total) at 88.2 and 96 kHz
- 2 channels per port (4 total) at 176.4 and 192 kHz
Installation
An installed LM-DIG is required for DB-ADAT operation. Upgrades with the DB-ADAT are done by LYNX or a LYNX custom shop integrator; models with a DB-ADAT include a 1 in, 1 out word clock module.
Compatible with
- LYNX Aurora(n) with an LM-DIG module
In the box
- DB-ADAT daughter board
