Product overview
The RME OPTO-X is an alternative extension board for the HDSPe MADI FX triple MADI card that replaces the standard coaxial MADI I/O with an optical MADI I/O, so the card has three optical MADI I/Os.
Like the standard BNC-X extension board it carries word clock input and output on BNC and the D-sub connector for the MIDI and AES/EBU breakout cable, with full functionality. Connections and functions are identical to the standard board; only MADI 3 changes from coaxial to optical (SC, up to 2,000 m of multi-mode fibre).
Compatible with
- RME HDSPe MADI FX (in place of the included BNC-X expansion board)
In the box
- RME OPTO-X extension board
